Garment decoration

Lets untangle the mystery

Do you only do embroidery?

No. Although we specialise in embroidery, we can also print garments too. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Are there limitations with embroidery?

Like everything in life, yes!

The following should help to guide you:

Small lettering – 4mm high block letters are pushing our comfort zone. Most fonts cannot be embroidered that small – well, not if you want the letters to look nice!

Small complicated designs – The more complicated the design, the harder it is to make it look nice when it is small. We can help by simplifying your design so that it stitches nicely

Photographs – It’s nearly impossible to stitch photographic images. Sometimes, with posterisation (reducing the images from full colour to a lower number of colours) we can do a decent likeness but please be be prepared to compromise.

Are there areas of garments or types of garments you cannot decorate?

Yes. The following list is not exhaustive, just a general idea:

Long, thin areas like along arms and legs of garments
Across zips (that is done prior to the zip being sewn into the garment)
Across seams (especially difficult for printing)
Pockets (embroidering on pockets will sew them shut!)
Next to zips, pockets and collars
Especially thick or tough items (like belts)
Shoes
Gloves
Peaks of caps

Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

What size will my design be?

Left and right breast areas are a maximum of 100 x 100mm

Sleeves 100 x 100mm

Back pieces can vary in size but the bigger they are, the more they will cost. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Do your prices include the cost of my logo design?

No. We have a dedicated art department that can help you with bespoke designs. Prices will vary depending on your requirements. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

Can I have a different name on each garment?

Yes. But, we have multiple head machines which are only capable of stitching the same design on each head (so each head must be stitching the same thing) – we cannot stitch one design on one head and a different design on the other heads. This means that if you require a different name on each garment, we would have to run 1 garment at a time. There will be an extra cost involved with that process as it will take a lot longer.

Please contact us with your requirements.

Can I see a sample of my embroidery?

Yes. A stitch sample can be provided (for no extra charge) once an order has been placed. The stitch sample will be embroidered on to a piece of felt material for you to approve.
