Delivery Information

Goods are delivered by a courier or Royal Mail and may require a signature on receipt. If delivery has to be attempted more than twice due to the recipient not being in to receive the goods, a second delivery charge may be made. Furthermore, a second delivery charge may be incurred if the recipient requires a delivery to be redirected.

Orders Without Personalisation

Orders for garments not requiring personalisation (i.e. embroidery or printing) will usually be despatched on the second working day after your order is placed if placed by 10am. Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.

Occasionally, demand outstrips supply and we may be out of stock of one or more items that you have ordered. In this event, you will be offered an alternative, or your order may go on “Back Order” or you may cancel the order if you prefer. We will contact you to discuss your order if necessary.

Orders With Personalisation

Orders for garments that require embroidery or printing will usually be despatched within 14 working days of your order being placed. However, outside of busy periods, it is possible that we can despatch your order sooner.

If there are any problems with your order, you will be contacted immediately.

Delivery Method – UK Mainland & Northern Ireland.

Your order will be despatched via a courier or Royal Mail depending on what service you choose in the checkout.

Signature on Delivery Courier deliveries will require a signature on receipt.

What if you are not in? If you are not in at the time that the courier calls, a card will be left with contact details. By arrangement with your local courier and depending on your postcode, re-delivery can be attempted in the evenings or on Saturdays.

Delivery Method – Outside of UK

Your order will be despatched via international courier or Air Mail.

You will be required to sign for receipt of your order.

Please allow up to 25 working days from date of despatch for your order to arrive. The Delivery Charge amount will be shown separately at the checkout and VAT added. There are occasions where the demand on certain products outstrips supply and in these cases delivery may be up to 20 working days. If this problem arises, We will contact you to update you on the progress of your order. In normal circumstances, please allow 10 working days for delivery. For embroidered and printed items, please allow up-to 14 working days. You will be required to sign to acknowledge receipt of your order when it is delivered.

Product Guarantee

In the unlikely event that you experience any problems with any product supplied by Stevenage Embroidery, you should notify us within 7 days or receipt of goods. You can return any item of clothing for exchange or refund provided it is unused and returned in its original packaging and you have the Packing List documentation within 30 days. This returns policy does not apply to altered, personalised or custom-made garments.

Cancellation of Order

You may return carriage paid any product to us within 30 days of receipt for a refund less original delivery cost providing it is unused and with its original packaging and providing our original invoice has been paid. To return an item simply send it to us at the below address along with the picking list or invoice and a note requesting either a refund or exchange. Stevenage Embroidery cannot accept the return of any product or garment that has been embroidered or printed with a logo or personalised in any other way. We also cannot accept the return of any swimwear or underwear, whether worn or not. Refunds on an order will be issued as soon as possible. You should allow up-to 30 days before the refund appears on your card statement. Please allow extra time for certain busy periods during the year.

Accuracy of Content

Stevenage Embroidery make every effort to ensure that specifications and product details are correct and have taken every care to ensure that the colours and photographs shown on this website give a true representation of the garments, though we cannot guarantee this in every case. We reserve the right to make changes to the items shown on this website. The prices quoted on this website are valid for Internet sales only and we reserve the right to change prices without notice. When an order is placed the customer will be notified by email to confirm receipt of the order.


All prices are quoted in £ sterling and exclusive of post and packing and exclusive of VAT and any other promotional offer and discount scheme. Any applicable post and packing and VAT is payable by you in addition to the contract price.


We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa and Mastercard. Orders will only be processed once authorisation has been received. Stevenage Embroidery reserve the right to decline an order.

Security Statement

Credit card security is one of the top priorities at Stevenage Embroidery  which is why we can guarantee secure ordering for our customers. Stevenage Embroidery use Paypal, the tried and trusted state of the art, eCommerce solution to process and to protect you and your credit card information. Credit card numbers are encrypted in the Paypal software when the order is placed, and are not held in clear text on any website. Paypal is recognised and approved by all major banks including Barclays, HSBC, National Westminster and The Royal Bank of Scotland. Our transaction system only works with web browsers that can use SSL, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator and AOL. Purchases from Workwearhouse will appear as “Workwear House – Internet” on your credit card statement. Stevenage Embroidery will not provide customer credit card information to anyone outside of the company unless required to do so by a court ruling.

Privacy Policy

Stevenage Embroidery are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information provided by you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. You can check the information we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will correct it or delete it as instructed by you.

Accuracy of Content

Although we endeavour to be accurate with all product details and prices, if a product or price is incorrect due to a typographical error we have the right to refuse or cancel any order whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account to the value of the original debit. We have made every effort to display the colours of our clothing ranges as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colours that you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your screen will accurately render the exact shade of the product that is delivered to you. Sizes and colours given on this website are approximate and for guidance only.


All items are subject to availability. There may be a small delay if on occasion an item is more popular than we expected or our suppliers, without advance warning, cancel or discontinue styles. In these events you will be offered an alternative or your order may go on “Back Order”. You may also be offered the opportunity to cancel the order if you prefer. We will contact you to discuss your order if necessary.

Non Delivery, Damage in Transit

Stevenage Embroidery shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivering goods. In the unlikely event that your product appears lost or is damaged in transit please contact us immediately. You must keep the original packing in case you have any reason to return your purchase.

UK and EU Distance Selling Regulations

Our returns and refunds policy is in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive which came into force in October 2000 and is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This law applies to all transactions within the UK where a consumer does not meet the vendor. Contracts between businesses are not governed by these regulations.


In accordance with the law, you have a 7 day ‘cooling off period’ in which you have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling your purchase. We are obliged to refund your payment in full, minus delivery costs, within 30 days of your cancellation.

Force Majeure

Stevenage Embroidery  will not be under any liability whatsoever in the event that Stevenage Embroidery is prevented or delayed from supplying or making delivery of any goods by any reason or cause beyond the control of Stevenage Embroidery.

Risk and Ownership

The risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address. Ownership of goods remains with Stevenage Embroidery. until payment for the goods are received in full.


We aim to provide a high standard of customer service. If however we do get it wrong we will do everything in our power to put it right! We will acknowledge any complaint emailed to us.
